Up at 10am. This after staying up until 2am last night.
Went to see my project site and walk around the Gostinyy Dvor neighborhood passing the Elvis Cafe....a little ways from Tupelo.
Had a lunch at Mexuko. Only in Russia can you eat at a Mexican restaurante that offers
fish in a Hungarian sauce and egg plant salad and have Shakira on a loop who is Colombian.
They did have these wonderfully executed plaster reliefs of various Mexican imagery built into the walls like this moon.
Spent several hours updating this blog and posting more photos and looking out the window. Still have a ways to go.
Ed returned from his workshop and we got coffee at the Coffeeshop Company. A second floor coffee shop that overlooks Nevsky and Liteynyy. Because it is a bit chilly, each chair comes with its own blanket.
We then went back to the market and Ed prepared pierogies. Good stuff. Went to bed early. Tomorrow is a busy day.
